Institute of Regional and Urban-Rural Development at Wuhan University invites applications for tenure-track assistant/associate professor positions in any areas of urban/regional economic development.

The Institute was founded jointly by Wuhan University and National Development and Reform Commission with the objective to reshape regional development policies and landscape. It is directly administered by the university and offers Master and Doctoral degrees in regional economics with 10 faculty members and over 60 current graduate students.

Applicants are expected to have: (1) Ph.D. degree in related areas such as economics, urban planning, geography and public policy with concentration on urban/regional studies; (2) demonstrated strong record or potential for excellence in research; (3) ability to teach graduate intermediate or above level theory and methodology courses in areas of expertise. Salary and other benefits are subject to university policies.
