The Journal of GUIHUA: Frontiers of Urban and Rural Spatial Planning, organized by Tongji University, is an international journal focusing on urban and rural spatial planning, sustainable development strategies, and other dimensional topics. The journal’s purpose is to promote the sustainable development of urban and rural areas and the well-being of their inhabitants by supporting the most innovative interdisciplinary research and practice in spatial planning. It provides a world-class platform for the exchange of results in theory, practice, and interdisciplinary research in urban and rural spatial planning: on the one hand, it keeps abreast of international trends, and on the other hand, it showcases China’s explorations and achievements in the field of urban and rural spatial planning – especially focusing on China’s explorations in the areas of the strategy of new-type urbanization, the reform of the modernization of the state’s governance system and governance capacity. 【Two Ph.D. Positions at McGill University】
The Transportation Research at McGill (TRAM) research lab at McGill University’s School of Urban Planning has two fully funded PhD positions focusing on the impacts of public transportation projects.
TRAM is a group of researchers, faculty, and students working primarily in the area of transportation planning and operations. TRAM is a multidisciplinary team in the School of Urban Planning, Faculty of Engineering, McGill University, Montreal, Canada. The group’s main objectives are to conduct valuable research that benefits society and to educate students through practical transportation planning projects. Professor Ahmed M. El-Geneidy is the head of the research group.
