The annual business meeting and reception at the Association of Collegiate Schools of Planning’s (ACSP) annual conference in Seattle on November 7, 2024, were a resounding success. We thank all members and friends who joined the meeting!
2024年11月7日，IACP在芝加哥美国大学规划学院协会（ACSP）期间举办了年度商务会议和招待会。会议吸引了上百位来自各地的规划学者。我们感谢所有参加会议的会员和朋友们！
The International Association for China Planning (IACP) hosted the event with over a hundred members and friends in attendance.
Dr. Zhilin Liu (Tsinghua University), Chair of the IACP Board of Directors, provided a comprehensive summary of the key activities conducted by the Board of Directors (BOD) during the 2023-2024 year. These activities included:
- The 18th IACP Annual Conference
- The Third Academic Writing Workshop
- Job Search & Proposal Writing Workshops
- Virtual Job Fairs
- Career Development Workshops
Additionally, IACP has actively engaged with its members through monthly and annual newsletters, operating a WeChat public account, and showcasing faculty highlights. Special thanks to the board of directors, committee members, and the IACP European Chapter for their dedication and hard work.
In the past year, IACP has sponsored several high-profile events, including:
- The second Global Urban Governance and Policy Conference
- The AI for Cities Workshop
- The International Conference on Planning Frontiers in Urban Sustainability
- The International Symposium on Sustainable Urban Development
Dr. Liu also presented the financial report prepared by Treasurer Dr. Li Yin and Co-Treasurer Haotian Zhong. Looking forward, Dr. Liu introduced plans for the upcoming year, especially the next annual conference in Xiamen, and extended an invitation for scholars to join IACP as members.
