\n<\/strong><\/span><\/h4>\n

In 1984, the World Health Organization (WHO) put forward a concept of Healthy City and launched the Healthy City Project, which directly promoted the development and construction of healthy cities on a global scale. Since 2012, the WHO has issued two documents: Indicators for Health in Sustainable Cities and Health indicators for Sustainable Development Goals, which have officially incorporated the construction of healthy cities into the grand blueprint of the Sustainable Development Goals.
\n<\/span><\/p>\n

Urban planning has been designated as an important policy tool to promote the construction of healthy cities as early as 1986 in the Ottawa Charter for Health Promotion. The integration of urban planning and the construction of healthy cities not only promotes the practice of healthy cities but also enriches urban planning theories and research methodologies. The health-value oriented planning has been gradually incorporated into planning and design guidelines, facilitating the implementation of global healthy cities.
\n<\/span><\/p>\n

In 1994, the Dongcheng District of Beijing and the Jiading District of Shanghai were selected as the pilot cities of Healthy City construction, marking China’s official entry into the concrete practice of Healthy City.. With the publication of the Healthy China national strategy in 2017, the idea that Integrating Health into All Policies has become a critical approach to promoting sustainable urbanization and solving urban problems. The continued ravages of the COVID-19 pandemic, in particular, have heightened attention to global public health and sparked in-depth discussions on sustainable and healthy cities. In this context, exploring urban-rural healthy and sustainable development has become the top scientific topic in urban planning.
\n<\/span><\/p>\n

Urban-rural healthy and sustainable development is the theme of this annual conference. We cordially invite scholars and practitioners, engineers, and government officials in China and around the world to the conference to have academic exchanges and in-depth discussions on urban-rural healthy and sustainable development, carbon peaking and carbon neutrality goals, resilient territorial space, and other related issues, and explore the advanced concepts and successful experiences of global urban-rural spatial development, planning and governance in the new context of globalization and regionalization.
\n<\/span><\/p>\n

Abstract Submission

Please submit your paper abstract of 200-300 words, in English only<\/strong>*, to https:\/\/easychair.org\/conferences\/?conf=iacp2022<\/a> by March 8, 2022. Please refer to the template<\/strong><\/a>.
\n<\/span><\/p>\n

Paper abstracts should be submitted via EasyChair. Please register as an author in the EasyChair system first. When making a submission, please select the most appropriate track and submit your abstract to that track ONLY. Please enter the names and contact information of all co-authors. Otherwise, their names will not appear in the conference program. The technical committee of the conference will review all submitted abstracts.
\n<\/span><\/p>\n

Participants interested in the special issues organized for the conference may check the website at: https:\/\/www.china-planning.org\/alpha\/special-issues\/<\/a>. Abstract submitted to the special issue track but is later identified as not fit may still be accepted for a presentation at the conference in other session tracks.
\n<\/span><\/p>\n

Participants interested in organizing a pre-organized session, please ask your session participants to submit their abstracts as regular abstract submissions. The organizer of the pre-organized session should send a pre-organized session proposal to iacp.conf@gmail.com<\/a> before April 01. The proposal should include the purpose and theme of the session, and the information of each individual paper (abstract ID, title, and authors). The subject of the email should be formatted as “Pre-organized session proposal: proposal title”.
