He once worked as assistant professor at Institute of Geographical Sciences and Natural Resources Research, Chinese Academy of Science and as postdoc fellow at the University of Hong Kong. Since 2012, he has been teaching on courses in development studies, urbanization, regional development and planning as well as urban policy at both undergraduate and postgraduate levels in the Education University of Hong Kong (formerly Hong Kong Institute of Education).<\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 14pt;\"><strong>\u7814\u7a76\u65b9\u5411\u4e0e\u793e\u4f1a\u8d21\u732e\u00a0 \uff08<\/strong><\/span><span style=\"font-size: 14pt;\"><strong>Research direction and social contribution\uff09<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<p>\u4e3b\u8981\u7814\u7a76\u9886\u57df\u5305\u62ec\u8f6c\u578b\u7ecf\u6d4e\u7684\u4f01\u4e1a\u7ec4\u7ec7\u4e0e\u533a\u57df\u73af\u5883\u3001\u533a\u57df\u53d1\u5c55\u7684\u5730\u7406\u653f\u6cbb\u7ecf\u6d4e\u5b66\u3001\u57ce\u5e02\u4ea7\u4e1a\u4e0e\u7a7a\u95f4\u91cd\u6784\u3001\u571f\u5730\u57ce\u5e02\u5316\u3001\u57ce\u5e02\u66f4\u65b0\u4e0e\u4f4f\u623f\u653f\u7b56\u7b49\u3002\u6700\u8fd1\u7684\u7814\u7a76\u9879\u76ee\u6d89\u53ca\u57ce\u5e02\u5185\u90e8\u6536\u5165\u5dee\u8ddd\u3001\u4f4f\u623f\u4e0e\u521b\u4e1a\u4ee5\u53ca\u57ce\u5e02\u66f4\u65b0\u7684\u5236\u5ea6\u521b\u65b0\u3002\u4ed6\u7684\u7814\u7a76\u83b7\u5f97\u9999\u6e2f\u7814\u7a76\u8d44\u52a9\u5c40\u3001\u56fd\u5bb6\u81ea\u7136\u79d1\u5b66\u57fa\u91d1\u59d4\u3001\u5317\u5927-\u6797\u80af\u7814\u7a76\u9662\u3001\u4e2d\u56fd\u57ce\u5e02\u7814\u7a76\u7f51\u7edc\u7b49\u673a\u6784\u7684\u8d44\u52a9\uff0c\u76f8\u5173\u7814\u7a76\u6210\u679c\u53d1\u8868\u5728\u5728Urban Studies, Regional Studies, Environment and Planning A, Environment and Planning C, Geoforum, Cities, Applied Geography, Land use Policy, Public Administration and Development, Area Development and Policy, \u5730\u7406\u5b66\u62a5, \u5730\u7406\u7814\u7a76\u7b49\u56fd\u5185\u5916\u5b66\u672f\u671f\u520a\u3002 \u4ed6\u66fe\u83b7\u5f97\u9999\u6e2f\u6559\u80b2\u5927\u5b66\u535a\u6587\u53ca\u793e\u4f1a\u79d1\u5b66\u5b66\u9662\u4f18\u79c0\u7814\u7a76\u6210\u679c\u5956\uff082016\u5e74\uff09\u3001\u9999\u6e2f\u5927\u5b66\u6587\u5b66\u9662\u6770\u51fa\u535a\u58eb\u8bba\u6587\u5956\uff082007\u5e74\uff09\u548c\u7f8e\u56fd\u5730\u7406\u5b66\u4f1a\u4e2d\u56fd\u5730\u7406\u4e13\u4e1a\u7ec4\u5b66\u751f\u8bba\u6587\u7ade\u8d5b\u5956\uff082004\u5e74\uff09\u3002\u76ee\u524d\u62c5\u4efb\u9999\u6e2f\u5cad\u5357\u5927\u5b66\u57ce\u5e02\u4e0e\u7ba1\u6cbb\u7855\u58eb\u8bfe\u7a0b\u54a8\u8be2\u59d4\u5458\u4f1a\u59d4\u5458\uff0c\u4e3a\u4e8c\u5341\u4f59\u4e2a\u57ce\u5e02\u3001\u4f4f\u623f\u3001\u5730\u7406\u3001\u516c\u5171\u653f\u7b56\u3001\u53d1\u5c55\u7814\u7a76\u7b49\u9886\u57df\u7684\u82f1\u6587\u5b66\u672f\u671f\u520a\u62c5\u4efb\u5ba1\u7a3f\u4eba<\/p>\n<p>His research interests include firm-region nexus in transitional economy, regional development and geographical political economy, urban economic and spatial restructuring, landed urbanization, urban redevelopment and housing policy. His recent projects include urban inequality, housing and entrepreneurship, as well as policy innovation in urban redevelopment. His research has been funded by Hong Kong Research Grant Council (RGC), National Natural Science foundation of China, The Peking University-Lincoln Institute Center for Urban Development and Land Policy, and Urban China Research Network. His publications appear in both English peer-reviewed journals, including Urban Studies, Regional Studies, Environment and Planning A, Environment and Planning C, Geoforum, Cities, Applied Geography, Land use Policy, Public Administration and Development, Area Development and Policy, and Chinese academic journals including Acta Geographical Sinica and Geographical Research. Dr. Hu received research output prize in 2016 from the Faculty of Liberal Arts and Social Sciences, The Education University of Hong Kong, outstanding Ph.D. Thesis award in 2007 from the Faculty of Arts, The University of Hong Kong, and student paper competition award in 2004 from China Specialty Group of the Association of American Geographers.
