2003\u5e74\u548c2006\u5e74\u83b7\u5f97\u5b89\u5fbd\u5e08\u8303\u5927\u5b66\u5730\u7406\u79d1\u5b66\u5b66\u58eb\u5b66\u4f4d\u548c\u7855\u58eb\u5b66\u4f4d\uff0c2009\u5e74\u83b7\u5f97\u4e2d\u56fd\u79d1\u5b66\u9662\u5730\u7406\u79d1\u5b66\u4e0e\u8d44\u6e90\u7814\u7a76\u6240\u4eba\u6587\u5730\u7406\u5b66\u535a\u58eb\u5b66\u4f4d\uff0c\u5e76\u7559\u6240\u5de5\u4f5c\u3002\u76ee\u524d\u62c5\u4efb\u4e2d\u56fd\u79d1\u5b66\u9662\u533a\u57df\u53ef\u6301\u7eed\u53d1\u5c55\u5206\u6790\u4e0e\u6a21\u62df\u91cd\u70b9\u5b9e\u9a8c\u5ba4\u526f\u4e3b\u4efb\u3002<\/p>\n

Mingxing Chen received bachelor degree (2003) and master degree (2006) in geographical science from Anhui Normal University. He received Ph. D in human geography from Institute of Geographic Sciences and Natural Resources Research, CAS (2009) and has been working there since graduated, as well as work currently as deputy director of the Key Laboratory of Regional Sustainable Development Modeling, CAS.<\/p>\n

His research field includes urbanization and regional development, spatial planning, climate change and sustainable urbanization. He has led over 4-project of the National Natural Science Foundation of China, the original innovation project from 0 to 1 of the Basic Frontier Science Research Program of the Chinese Academy of Sciences, the sub-project of the Beautiful China Special Project of the Chinese Academy of Sciences, the sub-project of the key research program of the Ministry of Science and Technology, and the commissioned project of the National Development and Reform Commission. He has published research articles in Urban Studies, Cities, Land Use Policy, Habitat International, Annals of the American Association of Geographers, Journal of Cleaner Production, PLOS One, and Chinese academic journals including Acta Geographica Sinca, Geographical Research, Scientia Geographica Sinica, Urban Planning Forum, Urban Studies, etc. Several articles were selected in ESI high cited paper and F5000 high cited paper. Mingxing Chen has received the National Science Fund for Excellent Youth Scholars, the National Youth Geographic Science and Technology Award, the first prize of the Wu Chuanjun Human and Economic Geography Outstanding Paper, the high-impact paper on the 85th Anniversary of the Acta Geographica Sinca, and the award of the Youth Innovation Promotion Association of the Chinese Academy of Sciences. He is also the member of a council of China Institute for Innovation and Development Strategy and One Belt, One Road Branch of the Geographical Society of China, and the editorial board of PLOS One, Tropical Geography, China Geographical and Resources State Express, etc. In August 2013, He went to Zhong Nan Hai and attended the briefing on urbanization research findings of the Chinese Academy of Sciences and the Chinese Academy of Engineering held by Premier Keqiang Li. He has led and organized academic exchange activities such as the National Youth Forum of Human and Economic Geography (held three times) and Sustainable Urbanization Salon as well as planned and organized academic special activities such as “Scientific Cognition of the Changes of New-Type Urbanization ” and “Academic Debates on Hu Huanyong Line”.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
