He is also an Associated Scientist at the 4TU Resilience Engineering Center, The Netherlands. \"\"<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n

Dr. Wang earned his BSc from Nanjing University, MSc, and Ph.D. from the University of Georgia (USA). He worked as a consultant at the World Wildlife Fund (WWF), a research associate at the US Environmental Protection Agency (US EPA) and the International Institute for Applied Systems Analysis (IIASA), Austria.<\/p>\n

His research focuses on geodata science and urban analytics. He develops and applies GIScience methods and big data analytics for sustainable urban systems. As the principal investigator, he received two research grants from the Dutch Research Council (NWO), one from the Chinese Academy of Sciences and one from the Microsoft Azure Research Award. He has published research articles in Applied Geography, Applied Energy, Cities, Computers Environment and Urban Systems, Environment and Planning A\/B, Journal of Transport Geography, Land Use Policy, Landscape and Urban Planning, Urban Studies. Several articles were selected as ESI high cited paper.<\/p>\n

\u8d1f\u8d23\u8377\u5170\u7279\u6587\u7279\u5927\u5b66\u672c\u79d1GIS\u8f85\u4fee\u9879\u76ee\uff0c\u5e76\u627f\u62c54\u95e8\u6838\u5fc3\/\u4e13\u4e1a\u8bfe\u7684\u6559\u5b66\u5de5\u4f5c\u3002\u5171\u8ba1\u6307\u5bfc\u535a\u58eb\u751f\u4e09\u540d\uff0c\u7855\u58eb\u751f\u516d\u540d\u3002\u76ee\u524d\u62c5\u4efbRegional Studies, Regional Science\u671f\u520a\u526f\u4e3b\u7f16\uff0c\u56fd\u9645\u9065\u611f\u4e0e\u6444\u5f71\u6d4b\u91cf\u5b66\u4f1a\uff08ISPRS\uff09\u7269\u8054\u7f51\u4e0e\u7a7a\u95f4\u51b3\u7b56\u652f\u6301\u5de5\u4f5c\u7ec4\u79d8\u4e66\uff0c\u56fd\u9645\u534e\u4eba\u5730\u7406\u4fe1\u606f\u79d1\u5b66\u5b66\u4f1a\uff08CPGIS\uff09\u7406\u4e8b\u3002\u66fe\u83b7\u6559\u80b2\u90e8\u56fd\u5bb6\u4f18\u79c0\u81ea\u8d39\u7559\u5b66\u751f\u5956\u5b66\u91d1\u3001\u56fd\u9645\u533a\u57df\u79d1\u5b66\u534f\u4f1a(RSAI) \u535a\u58eb\u8bba\u6587\u5956\u3001\u7f8e\u56fd\u9065\u611f\u4e0e\u6444\u5f71\u6d4b\u91cf\u5b66\u4f1a\uff08ASPRS\uff09Robert Colwell \u7eaa\u5ff5\u5956\uff0c\u5e76\u5165\u9009\u8377\u5170\u5927\u5730\u6d4b\u91cf\u4e0e\u5730\u7406\u4fe1\u606f\u4e2d\u5fc3\u4eba\u624d\u8ba1\u5212\u3002<\/p>\n

At the University of Twente, he coordinates the undergraduate GIS Minor Program and lecturers in four GIScience courses. He is the supervisor of 3 Ph.D. students and 6 Master students. Currently, he is an Associate Editor of Regional Studies, Regional Science, the Secretary of the Internet of Things and Spatial Decision Support Working Group of the International Society for Photogrammetry and Remote Sensing (ISPRS), and a Board of Director (BOD) Member of Chinese Professionals of Geographical Information Science (CPGIS). He received the Chinese Government Award for Outstanding Students Abroad, Regional Science Association International (RSAI) Dissertation Award, American Society for Photogrammetry and Remote Sensing (ASPRS) Robert Colwell Memorial Fellowship. He was selected into the Netherlands Center for Geodesy and Geo-informatics (NCG) Talent Program.<\/p>\n
