He is currently an assistant professor at the Department of Real Estate, and a faculty affiliate at the NUS Institute of Real Estate and Urban Studies and the NUS Center for Family and Population Research. Prior to NUS, he has been a postdoctoral researcher at the UC Berkeley Institute of Urban and Regional Development in 2017-2019. He received a Ph.D. in Urban Planning and Development at University of Southern California in 2017, a Master in Urban and Regional Planning at University of Minnesota in 2012, and a B.E.in Urban Planning and a B.A. in Economics at Peking University in 2010.<\/p>\n<p>\u738b\u9521\u6cfd\u535a\u58eb\u4e8e2019\u5e747\u6708\u52a0\u5165\u65b0\u52a0\u5761\u56fd\u7acb\u5927\u5b66\u623f\u5730\u4ea7\u7cfb\uff0c\u4efb\u8be5\u7cfb\u52a9\u7406\u6559\u6388\u3002\u4ed6\u540c\u65f6\u662f\u65b0\u56fd\u5927\u57ce\u5e02\u4e0e\u623f\u5730\u4ea7\u7814\u7a76\u9662\u548c\u5bb6\u5ead\u4e0e\u4eba\u53e3\u7814\u7a76\u4e2d\u5fc3\u7684\u517c\u804c\u7814\u7a76\u5458\u3002\u4ed6\u66fe\u4efb\u4f2f\u514b\u5229\u52a0\u5dde\u5927\u5b66\u57ce\u5e02\u4e0e\u533a\u57df\u53d1\u5c55\u7814\u7a76\u9662\u535a\u58eb\u540e\u7814\u7a76\u5458(2017-2019)\uff0c\u4e8e\u5357\u52a0\u5dde\u5927\u5b66\u83b7\u5f97\u57ce\u5e02\u89c4\u5212\u4e0e\u53d1\u5c55\u535a\u58eb\u5b66\u4f4d(2017)\uff0c\u4e8e\u660e\u5c3c\u82cf\u8fbe\u5927\u5b66\u57ce\u5e02\u4e0e\u533a\u57df\u89c4\u5212\u7855\u58eb\u5b66\u4f4d(2012)\uff0c\u5e76\u4e8e\u5317\u4eac\u5927\u5b66\u83b7\u5f97\u57ce\u5e02\u89c4\u5212\u548c\u7ecf\u6d4e\u5b66\u5b66\u58eb\u5b66\u4f4d(2010)\u3002<\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 14pt;\"><strong>\u7814\u7a76\u65b9\u5411\u4e0e\u793e\u4f1a\u8d21\u732e\u00a0 \uff08<\/strong><\/span><span style=\"font-size: 14pt;\"><strong>Research direction and social contribution\uff09<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<p>Dr. Wang\u2019s research interests are urban health, urban policy analysis, demographic change and sustainable mobility. His current research agenda focuses on the impact of urban spatial planning on people\u2019s mental health and subjective well-being, and applying the causal-inference policy evaluation framework in urban policy analysis. His research has been published in leading journals in urban studies and planning, including Transportation Research Part A, Journal of Regional Science, Landscape and Urban Planning, as well as Nature Medicine (minor contributor). His paper \u201cModeling bike share station activity: Effects of nearby businesses and jobs on trips to and from stations\u201d has been cited by the U.S. National Association of City Transportation Officials in their \u201cBike Share Station Siting Guide\u201d.
