Yue Shen received a Bachelor of GIS (2009) from East China Normal University, and a Ph.D. of Human Geography (2014) from College of Urban and Environmental Sciences in Peking University. Also, she has a work experience as a visiting scholar in Department of Geography and Geographic Information Science, University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign. She has become a faculty member of School of Urban and Regional Science in East China Normal University since 2014. She is also a researcher in Research Center for China Administrative Division and The Center for Modern Chinese City Studies.<\/p>\n

\u4e3b\u8981\u7814\u7a76\u9886\u57df\u5305\u62ec\u57ce\u5e02\u7a7a\u95f4\u7ed3\u6784\u3001\u65f6\u7a7a\u95f4\u884c\u4e3a\u3001\u793e\u4f1a\u7a7a\u95f4\u4e0e\u793e\u4f1a\u516c\u6b63\u3001\u5927\u6570\u636e\u4e0e\u667a\u6167\u57ce\u5e02\u7b49\uff0c\u5728\u300aJournal of Transport Geography\u300b\u3001\u300aCities\u300b\u3001\u300a\u5730\u7406\u5b66\u62a5\u300b\u7b49\u56fd\u5185\u5916\u5b66\u672f\u671f\u520a\u53d1\u8868\u8bba\u658740\u4f59\u7bc7\uff0c\u51fa\u7248\u4e2a\u4eba\u4e13\u8457\u300a\u57ce\u5e02\u90ca\u533a\u6d3b\u52a8\u7a7a\u95f4\u300b\u3002\u8fd1\u671f\u7814\u7a76\u4e3b\u8981\u5173\u6ce8\u57fa\u4e8e\u6d3b\u52a8\u7a7a\u95f4\u7684\u793e\u4f1a\u7a7a\u95f4\u5206\u5f02\u3001\u533b\u7597\u8d44\u6e90\u53ef\u8fbe\u6027\u4e0e\u5c31\u533b\u884c\u4e3a\u3001\u793e\u533a\u53d1\u5c55\u53ca\u5176\u793e\u4f1a\u4e0e\u5065\u5eb7\u6548\u5e94\u7b49\u65b9\u9762\u3002<\/p>\n

\u4e3b\u6301\u56fd\u5bb6\u81ea\u7136\u79d1\u5b66\u57fa\u91d1\u9879\u76ee2\u9879\uff0c\u66fe\u83b7\u4e0a\u6d77\u5e02\u6668\u5149\u8ba1\u5212\u4eba\u624d\u9879\u76ee\u7b49\u591a\u9879\u7701\u90e8\u7ea7\u7814\u7a76\u8bfe\u9898\u3002\u76ee\u524d\u62c5\u4efb\u4e2d\u56fd\u5730\u7406\u5b66\u4f1a\u57ce\u5e02\u5730\u7406\u4e13\u4e1a\u59d4\u5458\u4f1a\u59d4\u5458\uff0c\u4e2d\u56fd\u57ce\u5e02\u79d1\u5b66\u7814\u7a76\u4f1a\u57ce\u5e02\u5927\u6570\u636e\u4e13\u4e1a\u59d4\u5458\u4f1a\u59d4\u5458\u3002\u4e3b\u8bb2”GIS\u6982\u8bba\u4e0e\u5e94\u7528””\u793e\u4f1a\u5730\u7406\u5b66””\u4eba\u6587\u5730\u7406\u5b66\u7ecf\u5178\u6587\u732e\u8bb2\u8bfb”\u7b49\u4e13\u4e1a\u8bfe\u7a0b\uff0c\u53c2\u4e0e\u56fd\u5bb6\u7ea7\u4e00\u6d41\u672c\u79d1\u8bfe\u7a0b”\u4eba\u6587\u5730\u7406\u5b66”\u7684\u8bfe\u7a0b\u5efa\u8bbe\u548c\u5728\u7ebf\u6559\u5b66\u3002<\/p>\n

Her research interests include urban spatial structure, space-time behavior, social space and social justice, big data and smart city. She has published more than 40 articles in English and Chinese journals, including Journal of Transport Geography, Cities, and Acta Geographica Sinica. In addition, she has published a monograph on Activity Space in Suburbs and several book chapters. Her recent research mainly focuses on social segregation based on activity space, accessibility to medical resources and health seeking behaviors, neighborhood development and its social and health effects.<\/p>\n

She has led 2 projects funded by the National Natural Science Foundation of China, as well as several provincial-level projects including Shanghai Chenguang Program. She serves on several academic committees including the Urban Geography Committee of China Geographical Society, and the Big Data Committee of Chinese Society for Urban Studies. She is the course instructor of Introduction and Application of GIS, Social Geography, and Introduction to Human Geography Literature. She also participates in course construction and online teaching of Human Geography, one of the state-level top undergraduate courses.<\/p>\n
