Prior to NJU, he was a postdoctoral researcher at the Institute of Urban and Regional Development, UC Berkeley, 2019-2021. He received his Ph.D. in Environmental Planning at UC Berkeley in 2019, a Master&#8217;s degree in Landscape Architecture (Environmental Planning focus) at UC Berkeley in 2015, and a B.E. in Urban Planning at Nanjing University in 2013.<\/p>\n<p>\u5c45\u9633\u535a\u58eb\u5c06\u4e8e2022\u5e743\u6708\u4ee5&#8221;\u6bd3\u79c0\u9752\u5e74\u5b66\u8005&#8221;\uff08\u6821\u7ea7\u535a\u58eb\u540e\uff09\u7684\u8eab\u4efd\u52a0\u5165\u5357\u4eac\u5927\u5b66\u7684\u57ce\u5e02\u89c4\u5212\u7cfb\u3002\u57282019-2021\u5e74\u671f\u95f4\uff0c\u4ed6\u5728\u52a0\u5dde\u5927\u5b66\u4f2f\u514b\u5229\u5206\u6821\u57ce\u5e02\u4e0e\u533a\u57df\u53d1\u5c55\u7814\u7a76\u6240\u62c5\u4efb\u535a\u58eb\u540e\u3002\u5c45\u9633\u535a\u58eb\u4e8e2019\u5e74\u5728\u52a0\u5dde\u5927\u5b66\u4f2f\u514b\u5229\u5206\u6821\u53d6\u5f97\u73af\u5883\u89c4\u5212\u7684\u535a\u58eb\u5b66\u4f4d\uff0c\u4e8e2015\u5e74\u5728\u4f2f\u514b\u5229\u5206\u6821\u53d6\u5f97\u666f\u89c2\u5efa\u7b51\u5b66\u7855\u58eb\u5b66\u4f4d\uff08\u73af\u5883\u89c4\u5212\u65b9\u5411\uff09\uff0c\u5e76\u57282013\u5e74\u5728\u5357\u4eac\u5927\u5b66\u53d6\u5f97\u57ce\u5e02\u89c4\u5212\u5de5\u5b66\u5b66\u58eb\u5b66\u4f4d\u3002<\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: black; background-color: white;\"><strong>\u7814\u7a76\u65b9\u5411\u4e0e\u793e\u4f1a\u8d21\u732e\u00a0(Research areas and social contributions)<br \/>\n<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<p>Dr. Ju&#8217;s research interests include measuring the built environment, built environment and health, environmental and social justice. His current research focuses on urban green space, including its measurement, effects on health outcomes, and causes of its disparities. In the future, he is interested in exploring the effect of China&#8217;s urban renewal projects on people&#8217;s wellbeing. He has published his research in leading academic journals including Landscape and Urban Planning, Environmental Research Letters, Climatic Change, Cities, and International Journal of Remote Sensing. His prior work on coastal flood modeling is included in Cal-Adapt, a data platform for climate change adaptation in California. And his collaborative work and data visualization on the exposure of hazardous facilities to sea level rise and flooding in coastal California are featured in LA Times.
