Dr. Wang completed his interdisciplinary Ph.D. in Computer and Urban Science at Massachusetts Institute of Technology in 2020. He received B.A. in Economics from Peking University (2014) and B.A. in Architecture and Law from Tsinghua University (2011), Master of Science in Transportation, and Master of City Planning from MIT (2017).<\/p>\n<p><strong>\u7814\u7a76\u65b9\u5411\u4e0e\u793e\u4f1a\u8d21\u732e \uff08Research direction and social contribution\uff09<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>\u738b\u535a\u58eb\u7684\u7814\u7a76\u81f4\u529b\u4e8e\u5229\u7528\u6700\u65b0\u7684\u4eba\u5de5\u667a\u80fd\u65b9\u6cd5\u6765\u5206\u6790\u7814\u7a76\u548c\u91cd\u65b0\u5efa\u6784\u4e0e\u57ce\u5e02\u76f8\u5173\u7684\u57fa\u672c\u7406\u8bba\uff0c\u5e76\u4ee5\u6b64\u521b\u65b0\u6280\u672f\u6765\u89e3\u51b3\u793e\u4f1a\u57ce\u5e02\u76f8\u5173\u7684\u75db\u70b9\u95ee\u9898\u3002\u4ed6\u7684\u7814\u7a76\u5305\u62ec\u51fa\u884c\u884c\u4e3a\u5efa\u6a21\uff0c\u901a\u8fc7\u6574\u5408\u7edf\u8ba1\u5efa\u6a21\u4e2d\u7684\u79bb\u6563\u9009\u62e9\u6a21\u578b\u7406\u8bba\u548c\u4eba\u5de5\u667a\u80fd\u7684\u6df1\u5ea6\u5b66\u4e60\u6765\u7814\u7a76\u4e2a\u4eba\u51fa\u884c\u51b3\u7b56\uff0c\u4f8b\u5982\u51fa\u884c\u65b9\u5f0f\u3001\u8def\u7ebf\u548c\u57ce\u5e02\u6d3b\u52a8\u7684\u9009\u62e9\u3002\u4ed6\u8fd8\u5229\u7528\u673a\u5668\u5b66\u4e60\u4ee5\u53ca\u590d\u6742\u7f51\u7edc\u6a21\u578b\u6765\u7814\u7a76\u57ce\u5e02\u7f51\u7edc\u7684\u98ce\u9669\u548c\u4e0d\u786e\u5b9a\u6027\uff0c\u4ece\u800c\u63d0\u9ad8\u4ea4\u901a\u7cfb\u7edf\u7684\u97e7\u6027\u548c\u957f\u671f\u7ecf\u6d4e\u589e\u957f\u3002\u9664\u4e86\u63a8\u8fdb\u6280\u672f\u521b\u65b0\uff0c\u738b\u535a\u58eb\u8fd8\u5173\u6ce8\u57ce\u5e02\u4eba\u5de5\u667a\u80fd\u7b97\u6cd5\u4e2d\u7684\u516c\u5e73\u6027\u4e0e\u53ef\u89e3\u91ca\u6027\uff0c\u4ee5\u5b9e\u73b0\u5e7f\u6cdb\u7684\u793e\u4f1a\u5f71\u54cd\u3002\u4ed6\u7684\u6587\u7ae0\u88ab\u5e7f\u6cdb\u53d1\u8868\u4e8eTransportation Research Part A, Part B, Part C, Journal of Choice Modeling\uff0cProceedings of ACM Knowledge Discovery and Data Mining\u7b49\u9ad8\u5f71\u54cd\u56e0\u5b50\u7684\u540c\u884c\u8bc4\u5ba1\u671f\u520a<\/p>\n<p>Dr. Wang is dedicated to utilizing cutting-edge artificial intelligence methods to reconstruct fundamental urban theories and resolve pressing urban challenges. His work includes travel demand modeling, particularly integrating the theoretical foundation of discrete choice models and computational power of deep learning to examine individual travel decisions, such as the choices of travel modes, routes, and urban activities. He also analyzes risk and uncertainty of the urban networks by synergizing the classical network theory and graph neural networks, thus promoting resilience in the transportation system and economic growth. Besides technology advancement, he also focuses on the normative aspect of urban science by enhancing transparency, accountability, and fairness of the urban machine intelligence to achieve broad social impacts.
