Boqian holds a PhD in City and Regional Planning, a Master of Landscape Architecture from the University of Pennsylvania, and a Bachelor of Landscape Gardening from Beijing Forestry University. Boqian is also a licensed Professional Landscape Architect. He practiced at James Corner Field Operations (New York) and worked on many projects in both China and the United States.<\/p>\n<p><strong>\u7814\u7a76\u65b9\u5411\u4e0e\u793e\u4f1a\u8d21\u732e \uff08Research direction and social contribution\uff09<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>\u5f90\u535a\u58eb\u7684\u7814\u7a76\u65b9\u5411\u4e3a\u751f\u6001\u57ce\u5e02\u3001\u751f\u6001\u8db3\u8ff9\u3001\u53ca\u5730\u7406\u8bbe\u8ba1\u3002\u81f4\u529b\u4e8e\u63a8\u52a8\u751f\u6001\u8db3\u8ff9\u5728\u5efa\u7b51\u89c4\u5212\u9886\u57df\u7684\u5e94\u7528\u2014\u2014\u901a\u8fc7\u7a7a\u95f4\u8bbe\u8ba1\u5f71\u54cd\u4e2a\u4eba\u884c\u4e3a\u6d3b\u52a8\u3001\u964d\u4f4e\u57ce\u5e02\u751f\u6001\u8db3\u8ff9\u3001\u4fc3\u8fdb\u5168\u7403\u53ef\u6301\u7eed\u53d1\u5c55\u3002\u4e3b\u8981\u9014\u5f84\u662f\u4ece \u201c\u793e\u533a\u201d\u89d2\u5ea6\u63a2\u7d22\u751f\u6001\u8db3\u8ff9\uff0c\u62d3\u5bbd\u751f\u6001\u8db3\u8ff9\u7684\u7814\u7a76\u5c3a\u5ea6\uff0c\u5c06\u5f53\u524d\u7684\u201c\u56fd\u5bb6-\u57ce\u5e02-\u4e2a\u4eba\u201d\u5b8c\u5584\u81f3 \u201c\u56fd\u5bb6-\u57ce\u5e02-\u793e\u533a-\u4e2a\u4eba\u201d \u7684\u65b0\u6846\u67b6\u3002\u76ee\u524d\u6b63\u57fa\u4e8e\u5f00\u6e90\u6570\u636e\u5e73\u53f0(Python, Google Earth Engine, OpenStreetMap\u7b49)\uff0c\u6784\u5efa\u5e76\u5206\u6790\u5168\u7403\u8303\u56f4\u5185\u7684\u793e\u533a\u5c3a\u5ea6\u751f\u6001\u8db3\u8ff9\u3001\u78b3\u8db3\u8ff9\u6570\u636e\u3002<\/p>\n<p>Dr. Xu\u2019s research focuses on Ecocities, Ecological Footprint, and Geo-design. He is committed to Ecological Footprint\u2019s application in the planning realm \u2013 DESIGN the built environment to shape individual behaviors, reduce urban ecological footprints, and foster planetary sustainability. His research agenda centers on the Ecological Footprints of &#8220;neighborhoods,&#8221; a scale gap within existing ecological footprint studies. The goal is to transition Ecological Footprint\u2019s research scale from &#8220;nation-city-individual&#8221; to &#8220;nation-city-neighborhood-individual&#8221;.
