{"id":3937,"date":"2025-09-20T19:36:46","date_gmt":"2025-09-21T00:36:46","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.china-planning.org\/alpha\/?p=3937"},"modified":"2025-09-20T19:36:46","modified_gmt":"2025-09-21T00:36:46","slug":"iacp-faculty-highlights-dr-chenghe-guan","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.china-planning.org\/alpha\/2025\/09\/20\/iacp-faculty-highlights-dr-chenghe-guan\/","title":{"rendered":"IACP Faculty Highlights: Dr. ChengHe Guan"},"content":{"rendered":"<p data-pm-slice=\"2 2 []\"><strong>\u5173\u6210\u8d3a\uff08ChengHe Guan, Ph.D.\uff09<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>\u4e0a\u6d77\u7ebd\u7ea6\u5927\u5b66<\/p>\n<p>New York University Shanghai<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-3938\" src=\"https:\/\/www.china-planning.org\/alpha\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/09\/Picture1.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"400\" height=\"420\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.china-planning.org\/alpha\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/09\/Picture1.jpg 400w, https:\/\/www.china-planning.org\/alpha\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/09\/Picture1-286x300.jpg 286w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 400px) 100vw, 400px\" \/><!--more--><\/p>\n<p>\u5173\u6210\u8d3a\u535a\u58eb\u73b0\u4efb\u7ebd\u7ea6\u5927\u5b66\u4e0a\u6d77\u5206\u6821\u57ce\u5e02\u79d1\u5b66\u4e0e\u653f\u7b56\u52a9\u7406\u6559\u6388\u3001\u7ebd\u7ea6\u5927\u5b66\u74e6\u683c\u7eb3\u5b66\u9662\u5168\u7403\u7f51\u7edc\u52a9\u7406\u6559\u6388\uff0c\u540c\u65f6\u62c5\u4efb\u4e0a\u6d77\u5e02\u57ce\u5e02\u8bbe\u8ba1\u4e0e\u79d1\u5b66\u91cd\u70b9\u5b9e\u9a8c\u5ba4\uff08LOUD\uff09\u8054\u5408\u521b\u59cb\u4e3b\u4efb\u3002\u4ed6\u4ea6\u62c5\u4efb\u7ebd\u7ea6\u5927\u5b66\u5766\u987f\u5de5\u7a0b\u5b66\u9662\u53ca\u534e\u4e1c\u5e08\u8303\u5927\u5b66\u751f\u6001\u4e0e\u73af\u5883\u79d1\u5b66\u5b66\u9662\u535a\u58eb\u751f\u5bfc\u5e08\uff0c\u5e76\u53d7\u8058\u4e3a\u8054\u5408\u56fd\u8bad\u7ec3\u7814\u7a76\u6240\uff08UNITAR\uff09\u4e0a\u6d77\u7e41\u8363\u8054\u76df\u529e\u516c\u5ba4\u5de5\u4f5c\u59d4\u5458\u4f1a\u59d4\u5458\uff0c\u81f4\u529b\u4e8e\u63a8\u52a8\u57ce\u5e02\u79d1\u5b66\u7814\u7a76\u3001\u53ef\u6301\u7eed\u53d1\u5c55\u4e0e\u5168\u7403\u57ce\u5e02\u6cbb\u7406\u7684\u5b66\u672f\u4ea4\u6d41\u4e0e\u5408\u4f5c\u3002\u5173\u535a\u58eb\u4e8e\u54c8\u4f5b\u5927\u5b66\u57ce\u5e02\u89c4\u5212\u4e0e\u8bbe\u8ba1\u7cfb\u5148\u540e\u83b7\u5f97\u535a\u58eb\u4e0e\u7855\u58eb\u5b66\u4f4d\u3002<\/p>\n<p>Dr. ChengHe Guan is an Assistant Professor of Urban Science and Policy at New York University (NYU) Shanghai and Global Network Assistant Professor at NYU Wagner. Dr. Guan is the founding co-director of the Shanghai Key Laboratory of Urban Design and Urban Science (LOUD). He serves as Ph.D. supervisor at the NYU Tandon School of Engineering and the School of Ecology and Environmental Sciences at East China Normal University. Additionally, he serves as a working committee member of the United Nations Institute for Training and Research (UNITAR) Prosperity Alliance Office in Shanghai. Dr. Guan received both his doctoral and master&#8217;s degrees from the Department of Urban Planning and Design, Harvard University.<\/p>\n<p><strong>\u7814\u7a76\u65b9\u5411\u4e0e\u793e\u4f1a\u8d21\u732e\uff08Research direction and social contribution\uff09<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>\u5173\u535a\u58eb\u7684\u7814\u7a76\u805a\u7126\u4e8e\u57ce\u5e02\u5f62\u6001\u4e0e\u7eff\u8272\u57fa\u7840\u8bbe\u65bd\u89c4\u5212\u7684\u7a7a\u95f4\u5206\u6790\uff0c\u4e3b\u8981\u56f4\u7ed5\u4e09\u4e2a\u76f8\u4e92\u5173\u8054\u7684\u4e3b\u9898\u5c55\u5f00\uff1a\uff081\uff09\u4eba\u5de5\u667a\u80fd\u9a71\u52a8\u7684\u57ce\u5e02\u7a7a\u95f4\u4e0e\u6570\u5b57\u5206\u6790\uff1b\uff082\uff09\u57fa\u4e8e\u57ce\u5e02\u611f\u77e5\u6280\u672f\u7684\u84dd\u7eff\u57fa\u7840\u8bbe\u65bd\u5206\u6790\uff1b\uff083\uff09\u6c14\u5019\u9002\u5e94\u578b\u57ce\u5e02\u53d1\u5c55\u4e0e\u6a21\u62df\u3002\u4ed6\u7684\u7814\u7a76\u6210\u679c\u5df2\u53d1\u8868\u4e8e\u56fd\u9645\u9876\u5c16\u5b66\u672f\u671f\u520a\uff0c\u5305\u62ec\u300aNature Communications\u300b\u300aScientific Data\u300b\u300anpj Urban Sustainability (Nature Portfolio)\u300b\u300aCommunications Earth &amp; Environment (Nature Portfolio)\u300b\u300aJournal of Planning Education and Research\u300b\u300aJournal of the American Planning Association\u300b\u300aLandscape and Urban Planning\u300b\u300aEnvironment and Planning B: Urban Analytics and City Science\u300b\u300aCities\u300b\u3002\u5173\u535a\u58eb\u4e8e2024\u5e74\u83b7\u8bc4\u6d66\u4e1c\u201c\u660e\u73e0\u4eba\u624d\u8ba1\u5212\u201d\u9886\u519b\u4eba\u624d\uff08\u65b0\u80fd\u6e90\u4e0e\u6750\u6599\u7c7b\u522b\uff0c\u57ce\u5e02\u79d1\u5b66\u65b9\u5411\uff09\uff1b2023\u5e74\u5165\u9009\u4e0a\u6d77\u5e02\u9ad8\u6821\u201c\u4e1c\u65b9\u5b66\u8005\u201d\u7279\u8058\u6559\u6388\uff08\u57ce\u4e61\u7a7a\u95f4\u89c4\u5212\u5b66\u79d1\uff09\uff1b2022\u5e74\u5165\u9009\u56fd\u5bb6\u5916\u56fd\u4e13\u5bb6\u5c40\u201c\u6d77\u5916\u9752\u5e74\u4eba\u624d\u8ba1\u5212\u201d\uff0c\u5e76\u8363\u83b7\u56fd\u9645\u4e2d\u56fd\u89c4\u5212\u5b66\u4f1a\uff08IACP\uff09\u201c\u65b0\u9510\u5b66\u8005\u5956\u201d\u3002<\/p>\n<p>Dr. Guan\u2019s research focuses on spatial analytics of urban morphology and green infrastructure planning, organized around three interconnected themes: (1) AI-enhanced urban spatial and digital analytics; (2) Blue-green infrastructure analytics with urban sensing techniques; and (3) Climate-adaptive city development and simulation. His work has been published in leading academic journals, including Nature Communications, Scientific Data, npj Urban Sustainability (Nature Portfolio), Communications Earth &amp; Environment (Nature Portfolio), Journal of Planning Education and Research, Journal of the American Planning Association, Landscape and Urban Planning, Environment and Planning B: Urban Analytics and City Science, and Cities. In 2024, Dr. Guan was awarded the Leading scheme of Pudong Pearl Program in the field of urban science, under the category of new energy and materials. In 2023, he was named Distinguished Professor of Eastern Scholar in the field of urban and rural spatial planning by the Shanghai Institutions of Higher Education.
