<\/p>\nOn August 27, 2025, the International Association for China Planning (IACP) held its virtual transitional meeting for the Board of Directors. Members of the outgoing Board of Directors (2023\u20132025) participated in the session and welcomed the incoming Board of Directors (2025\u20132027).<\/p>\n
The first half of the meeting was chaired by Dr. Zhilin Liu, Chair of the IACP (2023\u20132025). Dr. Liu and Dr. Zhenhua Chen, Chair of the IACP Conference Committee (2023\u20132025), presented a summary of the IACP 2025 Annual Conference and shared plans for the upcoming IACP Business Meeting at the ACSP 2025 Annual Conference. Members of both the outgoing and incoming Boards introduced themselves and discussed preparations for a smooth transition of responsibilities across committees, regional chapters, and task forces.<\/p>\n
The second half of the meeting was chaired by Dr. Zhenhua Chen, incoming Chair of the IACP (2025\u20132027). Members of the new Board engaged in a discussion of the association\u2019s governance structure, division of labor, and work plan for the 2025\u20132027 term.<\/p>\n
The Incoming Board of Directors extends its heartfelt appreciation to the outgoing Board (2023\u20132025) for their dedicated leadership and perseverance, which guided the IACP through a challenging period of uncertainty.<\/p>\n
