She specializes in urban economic development and land use policy, with a decade of experience exploring why some regions thrive while others struggle and what policies can drive equitable growth, job creation, and innovation.<\/p>\n<p><strong>\u7814\u7a76\u65b9\u5411\u4e0e\u793e\u4f1a\u8d21\u732e (Research direction and social contribution) <\/strong><\/p>\n<p>\u65b9\u4e3d\u535a\u58eb\u7684\u7814\u7a76\u533a\u57df\u6db5\u76d6\u4e86\u7f8e\u56fd\u3001\u4e2d\u56fd\u3001\u6fb3\u5927\u5229\u4e9a\u548c\u4fc4\u7f57\u65af\u3002\u5979\u8003\u5bdf\u7ecf\u6d4e\u53d1\u5c55\u5e26\u6765\u7684\u6b63\u9762\u4e0e\u8d1f\u9762\u7684\u6548\u5e94\uff0c\u5305\u62ec\u7814\u7a76\u6280\u672f\u53d8\u9769\u5bf9\u52b3\u52a8\u529b\u5e02\u573a\u5f71\u54cd\u3001\u6c14\u5019\u53d8\u5316\u5bf9\u519c\u7530\u4fdd\u62a4\u7684\u5f71\u54cd\u7b49\u3002\u5979\u5c06\u7ecf\u6d4e\u5b66\u3001\u5730\u7406\u5b66\u3001\u793e\u4f1a\u5b66\u4e0e\u8ba1\u7b97\u673a\u79d1\u5b66\u7684\u65b9\u6cd5\u76f8\u7ed3\u5408\uff0c\u5728\u300aJournal of the American Planning Association\u300b\u300aJournal of Planning Education and Research\u300b\u7b49\u9876\u7ea7\u671f\u520a\u4e0a\u53d1\u8868\u4e8630\u4f59\u7bc7\u8bba\u6587\u3002\u5176\u7814\u7a76\u9879\u76ee\u83b7\u5f97\u7f8e\u56fd\u73af\u4fdd\u7f72\u53ca\u4f5b\u7f57\u91cc\u8fbe\u5dde\u4ea4\u901a\u90e8\u7b49\u8054\u90a6\u4e0e\u5dde\u653f\u5e9c\u673a\u6784\u7684\u8d44\u52a9\u3002<\/p>\n<p>\u65b9\u4e3d\u535a\u58eb\u540c\u65f6\u4e5f\u5728\u57ce\u5e02\u89c4\u5212\u9886\u57df\u5185\u62c5\u4efb\u591a\u9879\u9886\u5bfc\u5c97\u4f4d\uff0c \u81f4\u529b\u4e8e\u63a8\u52a8\u9886\u57df\u7684\u53d1\u5c55\u3002\u5979\u62c5\u4efb \u300aJournal of the American Planning Association\u300b\u7684\u7f16\u59d4\uff0c\u5e76\u66fe\u4e3b\u6301 Association of Collegiate Schools of Planning\u5e74\u4f1a\u7684\u7ecf\u6d4e\u53d1\u5c55track\uff0c\u4ee5\u53caEwing Marion Kauffman Foundation \u6700\u4f73\u8bba\u6587\u8bc4\u5ba1\u59d4\u5458\u4f1a\u3002\u5979\u8fd8\u66fe\u62c5\u4efb\u7f8e\u56fd\u89c4\u5212\u5b66\u4f1aHolzheimer Memorial \u7ecf\u6d4e\u53d1\u5c55\u89c4\u5212\u5956\u8bc4\u5ba1\u59d4\u5458\u4f1a\u4e3b\u5e2d\uff0c\u4ee5\u53caUrban Affairs Association\u804c\u4e1a\u53d1\u5c55\u7248\u5757\u8d1f\u8d23\u4eba\u3002<\/p>\n<p>Her research, spanning the U.S., China, Australia, and Russia, examines both the benefits and consequences of economic development, from technological shifts in labor markets to climate impacts and farmland preservation. She integrates methods from economics, geography, sociology, and computer science, and has published over 30 peer-reviewed articles in top journals, including Journal of the American Planning Association and Journal of Planning Education and Research. Her research projects have been funded by federal and state agencies such as the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency and Florida Department of Transportation.<\/p>\n<p>A recognized leader in planning, Dr. Fang serves on the editorial board of the Journal of the American Planning Association. She also chaired the Economic Development Track and the Ewing Marion Kauffman Foundation Awards Committee for the Association of Collegiate Schools of Planning (ACSP). She also served as the Chair of the Holzheimer Memorial Scholarship for Economic Development Planning Award Committee for the American Planning Association (APA) and Professional Development Leader for the Urban Affairs Association (UAA).<\/p>\n<p><strong>\u4e0eIACP\u7684\u5173\u7cfb (Relationship with IACP)<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>\u65b9\u4e3d\u535a\u58eb\u79ef\u6781\u53c2\u4e0eIACP\u4e8b\u52a1\u5df2\u903e\u5341\u5e74\uff0c\u901a\u8fc7\u4e13\u4e1a\u7814\u7a76\u3001\u5b66\u751f\u6307\u5bfc\u3001\u4e0e\u62c5\u4efb\u9886\u5bfc\u5c97\u4f4d\u7b49\u65b9\u5f0f\u4e0d\u65ad\u4e3a\u5b66\u4f1a\u8d21\u732e\u529b\u91cf\u3002\u5979\u591a\u6b21\u53d7\u9080\u5728\u5b66\u4f1a\u6d3b\u52a8\u7684\u4e13\u5bb6\u8bba\u575b\u4e0a\u53d1\u8a00\uff0c\u5e76\u901a\u8fc7\u62c5\u4efb\u6700\u4f73\u5b66\u751f\u8bba\u6587\u5956\u8bc4\u5ba1\u59d4\u5458\u4f1a\u59d4\u5458\uff0c\u4e3a\u57f9\u517b\u65b0\u4e00\u4ee3\u5b66\u8005\u53d1\u6325\u4e86\u91cd\u8981\u4f5c\u7528\u3002<\/p>\n<p>\u5979\u7684\u8d21\u732e\u83b7\u5f97\u4e86IACP\u7684\u9ad8\u5ea6\u8ba4\u53ef\uff0c\u5e76\u56e0\u5176\u7a81\u51fa\u7684\u7814\u7a76\u6210\u679c\u800c\u83b7\u5f97 Rising Scholar Award\uff082020\uff09\uff0c\u4ee5\u53ca\u8868\u5f70\u5176\u5728IACP\u4f1a\u8bae\u4e2d\u7684\u79ef\u6781\u53c2\u4e0e\u800c\u6388\u4e88\u7684Travel Awards\uff082017\uff09\u3002\u65b9\u4e3d\u535a\u58eb\u4e8e2025\u5e74\u5f53\u9009\u4e3aIACP\u65b0\u4e00\u5c4a\u6559\u6388\u7406\u4e8b\u4f1a\u6210\u5458\uff0c\u5979\u4f1a\u5c06\u81ea\u8eab\u7684\u7ecf\u9a8c\u4e0e\u70ed\u5ff1\u5e26\u5230IACP\u7406\u4e8b\u4f1a\uff0c\u4e3a\u5b66\u4f1a\u672a\u6765\u53d1\u5c55\u8d21\u732e\u66f4\u591a\u529b\u91cf\u3002<\/p>\n<p>Kerry Fang has been an active member of IACP for more than a decade, contributing to its mission through research, mentorship, and leadership. She has played a key role in IACP events as an invited speaker on expert panels and has helped shape the next generation of scholars by serving on the Best Student Paper Award Review Committee.<\/p>\n<p>Her contributions have been recognized with prestigious IACP honors, including the Rising Scholar Award (2020) for her impactful research and the Travel Award (2017) for her engagement at international planning conferences.
