She brings over two decades of experience in higher education and professional practice. Dr. Tang holds a Bachelor of Engineering in City Planning and Design from Tianjin University, China, and earned her Master&#8217;s and PhD degrees from the University of Nottingham. She currently serves as the Course Director for the MArch Advanced Architecture Design programme, having previously led MArch Sustainable Urban Design programme.<\/p>\n<p><strong>\u7814\u7a76\u65b9\u5411\u4e0e\u793e\u4f1a\u8d21\u732e (Research direction and social contribution) <\/strong><\/p>\n<p>\u5979\u7684\u7814\u7a76\u805a\u7126\u4e8e\u57ce\u5e02\u518d\u751f\u3001\u6587\u5316\u9057\u4ea7\u4fdd\u62a4\u3001\u793e\u533a\u5065\u5eb7\u4e0e\u798f\u7949\u3001\u5305\u5bb9\u6027\u8bbe\u8ba1\u7b49\u4e3b\u9898\uff0c\u5c24\u5176\u5173\u6ce8\u4e2d\u82f1\u6bd4\u8f83\u7814\u7a76\u3002\u8fd1\u5e74\u6765\uff0c\u5979\u4e3b\u6301\u548c\u53c2\u4e0e\u591a\u9879\u83b7\u5f97\u8d44\u52a9\u7684\u7814\u7a76\u9879\u76ee\uff0c\u5305\u62ec\u6ee8\u6c34\u533a\u53d1\u5c55\u3001\u6587\u5316\u9057\u4ea7\u5bfc\u5411\u7684\u57ce\u5e02\u518d\u751f\uff0c\u4ee5\u53ca\u4eba\u5de5\u667a\u80fd\u5728\u53ef\u6301\u7eed\u8bbe\u8ba1\u4e2d\u7684\u5e94\u7528\uff0c\u7814\u7a76\u5f97\u5230 Leverhulme Trust\u53ca\u8bfa\u4e01\u6c49\u5927\u5b66\u591a\u9879\u79d1\u7814\u8ba1\u5212\u7684\u652f\u6301\u3002\u6c64\u535a\u58eb\u8fd1\u516b\u5e74\u6765\u4e0e\u82f1\u56fd\u77e5\u540d\u5f00\u53d1\u5546Peel Group\u5408\u4f5c\u5f00\u5c55\u591a\u9879\u6559\u5b66\u4e0e\u5b9e\u5730\u7814\u7a76\u9879\u76ee\uff0c\u5e76\u591a\u6b21\u53d7\u9080\u5728\u56fd\u9645\u4f1a\u8bae\u548c\u516c\u4f17\u54a8\u8be2\u4f1a\u4e0a\u53d1\u8868\u6f14\u8bb2\u3002\u5979\u5728\u8bfe\u7a0b\u521b\u65b0\u4e0e\u6559\u5b66\u9886\u5bfc\u65b9\u9762\u8868\u73b0\u5353\u8d8a\uff0c\u591a\u6b21\u83b7\u5f97\u8bfa\u4e01\u6c49\u5927\u5b66\u8868\u5f70\u8ba1\u5212\u5956\u3002<\/p>\n<p>Her research interests include urban regeneration, cultural heritage conservation, community health and wellbeing, and inclusive design, with a particular emphasis on comparative studies between China and the UK. In recent years, she has led and participated in several funded research projects, covering waterfront development, heritage-led urban regeneration, and the application of artificial intelligence in sustainable design. Her work has been supported by the Leverhulme Trust and various research initiatives at the University of Nottingham. In the last 8 years, she has collaborated with leading UK developer Peel Group on teaching and field research projects, and has been invited to speak at international conferences and public consultation events. Her excellence in curriculum innovation and teaching leadership has been recognised through multiple Nottingham Recognition Scheme Awards.<\/p>\n<p><strong>\u4e0eIACP\u7684\u5173\u7cfb (Relationship with IACP)<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>\u6c64\u535a\u58eb\u5728\u6b64\u524d\u4e24\u5e74\u4f5c\u4e3a\u6b27\u6d32\u5206\u4f1a\u54a8\u8be2\u7ec4\u6210\u5458\u671f\u95f4\uff0c\u534f\u52a9\u7b56\u5212\u5e76\u4e3b\u6301\u4e86\u4e00\u7cfb\u5217\u5b66\u672f\u7814\u8ba8\u4f1a\uff0c\u5e76\u4e3b\u5bfc\u7ec4\u7ec72025 IACP\u2013EU \u6ee8\u6c34\u53d1\u5c55\u56fd\u9645\uff083-6 Nov 2025\uff09\u3002\u672a\u6765\u4efb\u671f\u5185\uff0c\u5979\u5c06\u81f4\u529b\u4e8e\u52a0\u5f3a\u56fd\u9645\u4ea4\u6d41\u3001\u4fc3\u8fdb\u8de8\u5b66\u79d1\u5408\u4f5c\u3001\u63a8\u52a8\u89c4\u5212\u4e0e\u57ce\u5e02\u8bbe\u8ba1\u9886\u57df\u5b66\u8005\u548c\u5b9e\u8df5\u8005\u4e4b\u95f4\u7684\u6df1\u5ea6\u4e92\u52a8\u3002\u51ed\u501f\u5176\u5353\u8d8a\u7684\u5b66\u672f\u9886\u5bfc\u529b\u3001\u5168\u7403\u5408\u4f5c\u7ecf\u9a8c\u53ca\u5bf9\u53ef\u6301\u7eed\u4e0e\u516c\u5e73\u57ce\u5e02\u672a\u6765\u7684\u627f\u8bfa\uff0c\u6c64\u535a\u58eb\u5c06\u6301\u7eed\u63a8\u52a8 IACP \u6b27\u6d32\u5206\u4f1a\u5728\u56fd\u9645\u5b66\u672f\u754c\u7684\u5f71\u54cd\u529b\u4e0e\u51dd\u805a\u529b\u3002<\/p>\n<p>Dr. Tang previously served on the chapter\u2019s advisory committee, where she helped organise and chair a series of academic seminars. She is currently leading the organisation of the 2025 IACP\u2013EU International Conference on Waterfront Development (3\u20136 November 2025). In her upcoming term, she aims to strengthen international exchange, foster interdisciplinary collaboration, and promote deeper engagement between scholars and practitioners in planning and urban design.
