He got the master&#8217;s degree in human geography from Peking University in 1989 and PhD in urban planning and design from Tongji University in 2003.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><!--more--><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 18pt;\"><strong>\u7814\u7a76\u65b9\u5411\u4e0e\u793e\u4f1a\u8d21\u732e (Research direction and social contribution)<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 12pt;\">\u5f6d\u6559\u6388\u7684\u7814\u7a76\u5174\u8da3\u4e3a\u4e2d\u56fd\u7684\u57ce\u9547\u5316\u4e0e\u533a\u57df\u53d1\u5c55\u4e0e\u89c4\u5212\uff0c\u5c0f\u57ce\u9547\u4e0e\u4e61\u6751\u53d1\u5c55\u4e0e\u89c4\u5212\u95ee\u9898\u3002\u5f6d\u6559\u6388\u66fe\u62c5\u4efb\u540c\u6d4e\u5927\u5b66\u5efa\u7b51\u4e0e\u57ce\u5e02\u89c4\u5212\u5b66\u9662\u57ce\u5e02\u89c4\u5212\u7cfb\u526f\u4e3b\u4efb\uff081995-2009\uff09\u3002\u5f6d\u6559\u6388\u81ea2013\u5e74\u8d77\u4efb\u4e2d\u56fd\u9ad8\u7b49\u6559\u80b2\u57ce\u4e61\u89c4\u5212\u4e13\u4e1a\u8bc4\u4f30\u59d4\u5458\u4f1a\u4e3b\u4efb\u59d4\u5458\u3002\u76ee\u524d\u662f\u4e2d\u56fd\u57ce\u5e02\u89c4\u5212\u5b66\u4f1a\u5c0f\u57ce\u9547\u89c4\u5212\u5b66\u672f\u59d4\u5458\u4f1a\u4e3b\u4efb\u59d4\u5458\uff0c\u4e5f\u662f\u300a\u5c0f\u57ce\u9547\u5efa\u8bbe\u300b\u6742\u5fd7\u7f16\u59d4\u4f1a\u4e3b\u4efb\u3002\u5f6d\u6559\u6388\u66fe\u62c5\u4efb\u56fd\u9645\u4eba\u5c45\u5de5\u7a0b\u4e0e\u8bbe\u8ba1\u5b66\u4f1a\u526f\u4e3b\u5e2d\uff082011-2012\uff09\u548c\u4e3b\u5e2d\uff082013-2014\uff09\u3002\u5f6d\u6559\u6388\u662f2014\u5e74\u4e2d\u56fd\u4f18\u79c0\u79d1\u6280\u5de5\u4f5c\u8005\uff0c\u5e76\u83b7\u5f97\u4e2d\u56fd\u56fd\u52a1\u9662\u653f\u5e9c\u7279\u6b8a\u6d25\u8d34\u7684\u8363\u8a89\u3002\u5f6d\u6559\u6388\u9886\u8854\u627f\u62c5<\/span>\u7684\u201c\u5409\u6797\u7701\u957f\u767d\u53bf\u57ce\u4e61\u53d1\u5c55\u89c4\u5212\u201d\u8363\u83b72015\u5e74\u5ea6\u4e2d\u56fd\u4f18\u79c0\u57ce\u4e61\u89c4\u5212\u8bbe\u8ba1\u4e00\u7b49\u5956\u3002<br \/>\n\u5f6d\u6559\u6388\u7684\u7814\u7a76\u53ef\u4ee5\u5728\u4ee5\u4e0b\u7f51\u7ad9\u627e\u5230\uff1ahttp:\/\/upd-caup.tongji.cn<\/p>\n<p>Professor Peng&#8217;s research interests are China&#8217;s urbanization, regional development and planning, small towns and rural development and planning issues. Professor Peng served as Deputy Director of Urban Planning Department, College of Architecture and Urban Planning (CAUP), Tongji University (1995-2009). Professor Peng has been the chairman of the Planning Accreditation Board of China since 2013. Professor Peng is currently the chairman of the Academic Committee of the Small Town Planning of the Urban Planning Society of China, and the chairman of editorial board of the Journal \u201cSmall Town Construction\u201d. Professor Peng used to be the vice president of International Society of Habitat Engineering and Design (ISHED) (2011-2012) and the president of ISHED (2013-2014). Professor Peng won the honor of national outstanding scientists and technicians in 2014 and he is the winner of the special government allowances of the State Council. Professor Peng led the project &#8220;Urban and Rural Development and Planning in Changbai County, Jilin Province&#8221; and won the first prize of China\u2019s Excellent Urban and Rural Planning and Design in 2015.<br \/>\nProfessor Peng&#8217;s research can be found at the following website: http:\/\/upd-caup.tongji.cn<\/p>\n<h3><span style=\"font-size: 18pt;\">\u4e0eIACP (The relationship with IACP)<\/span><\/h3>\n<p>\u5f6d\u6559\u6388\u662fIACP\u7684\u79ef\u6781\u652f\u6301\u8005\u548c\u53c2\u4e0e\u8005\uff0c\u591a\u5e74\u6765\u79ef\u6781\u53c2\u4e0eIACP\u7684\u5e74\u4f1a\u548c\u9662\u957f\u7cfb\u4e3b\u4efb\u8bba\u575b\uff0c\u5e76\u53c2\u4e0e\u627f\u529e\u4e862013\u5e74\u5728\u4e0a\u6d77\u4e3e\u529e\u7684\u7b2c\u4e03\u5c4aIACP\u5e74\u4f1a\u3002<\/p>\n<p>Professor Peng is an active supporter and participant of IACP and has been actively involved in the IACP Annual Conference and IACP\u2019s International Dean\/Chair\u2019s Forum on Urban and Rural Planning for many years.
