陈野夫（Dr. Yefu Chen）

陈野夫博士现任厦门大学公共事务学院公共管理系助理教授（2025年1月至今）。他于2016年在中山大学获理学学士，2018年在华盛顿大学完成硕士学位，2024年获美国得克萨斯大学奥斯汀分校社区与区域规划哲学博士学位。在研究生学习期间，陈博士曾在华盛顿州Issaquah市担任助理规划师，于华盛顿大学城市形态中心任助理研究员。

Dr. Yefu Chen has been serving as an Assistant Professor in the School of Public Affairs at Xiamen University since January 2025. He earned a Bachelor of Science from Sun Yat-sen University in 2016, completed his Master’s degree at the University of Washington in 2018, and received a Ph.D. in Community and Regional Planning from the University of Texas at Austin in 2024. In addition, Dr. Chen worked as an Assistant Planner for the City of Issaquah, Washington, while also serving as a Research Assistant at the Urban Form Lab at the University of Washington.

研究方向与社会贡献 (Research direction and social contribution)

陈博士目前的研究聚焦基础设施、政策评估与城市可负担性，通过整合机器学习算法、空间大数据分析与政策文本挖掘技术，系统研究住房市场动态和智慧出行。目前重点构建基于人工智能的智慧决策支持系统，致力于提升城市规划的公平性与韧性。相关研究成果发布在《Cities》《Transportation Research Part D》等国际高水平期刊上。陈博士也致力于增进国际学术合作联系。他协助组织了一系列有关智慧城市和新兴技术的讲座活动，如智慧城市和人工智能创新研讨会。

Dr. Chen’s current research focuses on infrastructure development, policy evaluation, and urban affordability. By integrating machine learning algorithms, spatial big data analytics, and policy text mining techniques, he investigates housing market dynamics and smart mobility. His work prioritizes the development of an AI-based intelligent decision support system aimed at enhancing equity and resilience in urban planning. Related findings have been published in leading international journals, including Cities and Transportation Research Part D. Dr. Chen is also committed to promoting academic cooperation between North America and Asia. He has helped organize a series of lecture events about smart cities and emerging technologies, such as the Smart Cities and AI Innovations Symposium.

与IACP的关系 (Relationship with IACP)

自学生时代起，陈博士就是IACP长期的活跃成员，积极参加与支持IACP年会以及相关线上线下活动。目前，陈博士是IACP Board of Directors的成员。

Dr. Chen has been actively involved in IACP activities. He is on the current IACP Board of Directors (2023-2025) and is a member of the Communication Committee and the Young Scholars Committee.
