汤岳博士现任英国诺丁汉大学建筑与建成环境学院建筑与城市设计专业助理教授,拥有二十余年的高等教育与专业实践经验。汤博士毕业于中国天津大学城市规划与设计专业,获工学学士学位,并在英国诺丁汉大学取得硕士与博士学位。她现任高级建筑设计硕士(MArch Advanced Architecture Design)课程主任,并曾担任可持续城市设计硕士课程主任。

Dr. Amy Yue Tang is currently an Assistant Professor in Architecture and Urban Design at the Department of Architecture and Built Environment, University of Nottingham, UK. She brings over two decades of experience in higher education and professional practice. Dr. Tang holds a Bachelor of Engineering in City Planning and Design from Tianjin University, China, and earned her Master’s and PhD degrees from the University of Nottingham. She currently serves as the Course Director for the MArch Advanced Architecture Design programme, having previously led MArch Sustainable Urban Design programme.

她的研究聚焦于城市再生、文化遗产保护、社区健康与福祉、包容性设计等主题,尤其关注中英比较研究。近年来,她主持和参与多项获得资助的研究项目,包括滨水区发展、文化遗产导向的城市再生,以及人工智能在可持续设计中的应用,研究得到 Leverhulme Trust及诺丁汉大学多项科研计划的支持。汤博士近八年来与英国知名开发商Peel Group合作开展多项教学与实地研究项目,并多次受邀在国际会议和公众咨询会上发表演讲。她在课程创新与教学领导方面表现卓越,多次获得诺丁汉大学表彰计划奖。

Her research interests include urban regeneration, cultural heritage conservation, community health and wellbeing, and inclusive design, with a particular emphasis on comparative studies between China and the UK. In recent years, she has led and participated in several funded research projects, covering waterfront development, heritage-led urban regeneration, and the application of artificial intelligence in sustainable design. Her work has been supported by the Leverhulme Trust and various research initiatives at the University of Nottingham. In the last 8 years, she has collaborated with leading UK developer Peel Group on teaching and field research projects, and has been invited to speak at international conferences and public consultation events. Her excellence in curriculum innovation and teaching leadership has been recognised through multiple Nottingham Recognition Scheme Awards.

汤博士在此前两年作为欧洲分会咨询组成员期间,协助策划并主持了一系列学术研讨会,并主导组织2025 IACP–EU 滨水发展国际(3-6 Nov 2025)。未来任期内,她将致力于加强国际交流、促进跨学科合作、推动规划与城市设计领域学者和实践者之间的深度互动。凭借其卓越的学术领导力、全球合作经验及对可持续与公平城市未来的承诺,汤博士将持续推动 IACP 欧洲分会在国际学术界的影响力与凝聚力。

Dr. Tang previously served on the chapter’s advisory committee, where she helped organise and chair a series of academic seminars. She is currently leading the organisation of the 2025 IACP–EU International Conference on Waterfront Development (3–6 November 2025). In her upcoming term, she aims to strengthen international exchange, foster interdisciplinary collaboration, and promote deeper engagement between scholars and practitioners in planning and urban design. With her outstanding academic leadership, global collaboration experience, and commitment to sustainable and equitable urban futures, Dr. Tang will continue to enhance the influence and cohesion of the IACP European Chapter within the international academic community.
