2017 IACP Travel Award Announcement

Dear IACP members:

As a benefit to our members, the IACP Board of Directors has decided to offer a limited number of IACP Travel Awards to IACP members, particularly aimed at students and junior faculty members to help defray part of their international travel expenses. To be eligible for this year’s travel award, the applicant must be an active IACP member or student member, having paid the 2017 membership fee by February 1st, 2017, whose abstract has been accepted for the 11th IACP conference in Harbin from June 16 – June 18, 2017. Although a full paper is not required to attend the conference, preference of this travel award will be given to applicants who submit a full paper by May 1st, 2017.

To be considered for this award, all applicants must submit an application form to http://www.chinaplanning.org/form/award/ by May 1st, 2017. Late or incomplete applications will not be considered for an award. The results of the award will be announced around May 15th, 2017. The awardees must attend and make presentation(s) at the conference in order to receive the award in Harbin. The amount of the award will be determined based on the number of applications received and the amount of available funds. We anticipate it would be in the range of $200 – $500.
