Dear IACP members:
As a benefit to our members, the IACP Board of Directors has decided to offer a limited number of IACP Travel Awards to IACP members, particularly aimed at students and junior faculty members to help offset part of their international travel expenses.
To be eligible for this year’s travel award, the applicant must:
- Be an active IACP member or student member, having paid the 2018 membership fee by February 1st, 2018;
- Have an abstract that was accepted for the 12th IACP conference in Xi’an from June 30 – July 1 2018.
Although a full paper is not required to attend the conference, preference of this travel award will be given to applicants who submit a full paper by May 1st, 2018.
To be considered for this award, all applicants must submit an application form to http://www.chinaplanning.org/form/award/ by May 1st, 2018. Late or incomplete applications will not be considered for an award.
The results of the award will be announced around May 15th, 2018. The awardees must attend and make presentation(s) at the conference in order to receive the award. The amount of the award will be determined based on the number of applications received and the amount of available funds. We anticipate it would be in the range of $200 – $500.
