龚岳是武汉大学城市设计学院城市规划系副教授、博士生导师。此前任职于北京大学深圳研究生院城市规划与设计学院和HOK纽约事务所。他获得美国华盛顿大学城市规划与设计交叉学科博士学位,也曾在哈佛大学和华南理工大学学习,并获得城市设计硕士、建筑学硕士和学士学位。

Yue Gong is Associate Professor in the Department of Urban Planning, the School of Public Affairs at Wuhan University. Before joining Wuhan University, he worked in the School of Urban Planning and Design at Peking University and HOK New York. He holds a Ph.D. degree from the interdisciplinary Ph.D. program in Urban Design and Planning. He studied at Harvard University and South China University of Technology and obtained master degrees in urban design and architecture and bachelor degree in architecture.

研究方向与社会贡献 (Research direction and social contribution)

Dr. Yue Gong’s research focuses on social space. His research interests are migration, housing, and related governance and planning themes. He has been conducting research on talent migration, homelessness, and public housing communities using mixed research methods. Dr. Gong has published around 30 papers in journals such as Urban Geography, Housing Studies, Eurasian Geography and Economics, Cities, and Chinese academic journals such as Progress in Geographical Sciences (地理科学进展). His monograph, Manufacturing Towns in China: The Governance of Rural Migrant Workers, was published by Palgrave Macmillan in 2019.

Dr. Gong has conducted several research projects supported by the National Natural Science Foundation of China, Guangdong Provincial Natural Science Foundation, and China Contemporary Social Governance Research Funds, on topics including “New Spatial Development in Pearl River Delta Villages and Towns from the Perspective of Governance” and “How Does Residence Integration Affect Psychological Integration?” Dr. Gong has been honored Overseas High-level Talent Worker of the Shenzhen Peacock Program and served as a Consulting Expert of the Science and Technology Department of Guangdong Province and Hubei Province. He participated in the HOK project of King Abdullah University campus planning and design, which was awarded LEED Platinum.

龚岳博士关注社会空间,研究兴趣聚焦于流动人口、住房及其相关的治理与规划议题,现基于混合研究方法对人才迁移、无家可归者和公共住房社区展开研究。以第一或通讯作者发表论文约30篇,主要研究成果发表在《Urban Geography》、《Housing Studies》、《Eurasian Geography and Economics》、《Cities》、《地理科学进展》等权威期刊,以及出版英文专著《Manufactuirng Towns in China: The Governance of Rural Migrant Workers (Palgrave Macmillan)

龚岳博士曾主持国家自然科学基金、广东省自然科学基金、中国当代社会治理研究基金等项目,研究议题包括”治理视角下珠三角村镇新型空间发展居住融合如何影响社会融合感知?等。龚博士是深圳市孔雀计划海外高层次人才、广东省和湖北省科技厅特聘专家,曾参与HOK的阿卜杜拉国王大学校园规划设计项目(LEED白金奖)。

IACP的关系 (Relationship with IACP)
Dr. Gong has been a member of the IACP and actively participated in IACP activities since 2010. He acted as a panel chair in several IACP annual conferences, assisting conference organization.

龚岳2010年起成为IACP会员,一直积极参与IACP组织的相关学术活动,多次担任IACP年会的小组组织人(pannel chair),协助组织会议。
