余思雨任教德克萨斯A&M大学景观与城市规划系助理教授，灾害研究中心(HRRC)及可持续发展研究中心(IFSC)研究员。她的研究聚焦于美国、荷兰及中国的都市土地利用，规划协同以及城市韧性发展问题。她曾就职于深圳市城市规划设计研究院(UPDIS)。她于2019年获得德克萨斯A&M大学城市与区域科学博士学位，并于2018年获得美国注册规划师。

Dr. Siyu Yu is an assistant professor in the Department of Landscape Architecture and Urban Planning and a research fellow with the Hazard Reduction and Recovery Center (HRRC) and the Institute for Sustainable Communities (IfSC) at Texas A&M University. Her experience spans land use, plan integration, and resilience issues in the United States, the Netherlands, and China. Before arriving at Texas A&M, she worked as a senior urban planner at the Urban Planning and Design Institute of Shenzhen (UPDIS), China. She holds a Ph.D. in Urban and Regional Science from Texas A&M University and is certified by the American Institute of Certified Planners.

余教授近期的研究着眼于构建、应用及发展“基于城市韧性的规划协同评估体系(PIRS)”。该方法用于空间性评估城市的多级规划体系的协同性以及规划体系是否以城市的灾害脆弱空间为导向（物质脆弱空间与社会弱势群体），进而发现城市韧性发展以及应对气候变化的机遇与挑战。她的研究重点包括韧性城市构建、环境规划及土地利用、社会脆弱性评估以及气候变化适应。她先后在《Journal of the American Planning Association》《Journal of Planning Education and Research》《Journal of Environmental Planning and Management》《Landscape Journal》《Landscape Research》《城市规划学刊》等国内外学术期刊发表数十篇论文。她参与编制了中美规划从业技术指引丛书:《Drafting a Disaster Recovery Guide with Planners in Mind》《Plan Integration for Resilience Scorecard Guidebook》《城乡规划编制技术手册》。她的研究获得美国国土安全部(DHS)，美国国家自然科学基金(NSF)，以及美国国立环境卫生科学研究院(NIEHS) 资助 。

Much of Dr. Yu’s current research focuses on the development, application, and extension of the Plan Integration for Resilience Scorecard (PIRS) evaluation methodology. The aim of this research is to better understand relationships among the various policy institutions in a community, the network of land use and development plans they produce, and social and physical vulnerability to hazards and climate change. Other recent research topics include urban resilience, environmental planning, land use planning, social vulnerability, and climate change adaptation. Dr. Yu has published over fifteen academic papers in international journals, including Journal of the American Planning Association, Journal of Planning Education and Research, Journal of Environmental Planning and Management, Landscape Journal, Journal of Landscape Research and Journal of Urban Planning Forum. She also participated in writing three planning-practitioner-oriented guidebooks: “Drafting a Disaster Recovery Guide with Planners in Mind”, “Plan Integration for Resilience Scorecard Guidebook”, and “Urban-Rural Planning Compiling Technique Guidebook”. Her research has been funded by the U.S. Department of Homeland Security (DHS), the National Science Foundation (NSF), and the National Institute of Environmental Health Sciences (NIEHS).
