姚静（ Dr Jing Yao）

英国格拉斯哥大学城市大数据中心副教授 Senior Lecturer, Urban Big Data Centre, University of Glasgow, UK

Dr Jing Yao (姚 静) is Lecturer in Urban Big Data and Quantitative Methods at the UK ESRC-funded Urban Big Data Centre. She has a PhD in Geography and a MSc in Industrial Engineering both from Arizona State University (ASU), USA. She also has a MSc degree and a BSc degree in Geographical Information System from Nanjing University, China. Previously she worked as a postdoctoral associate at the GeoDa Center for Geospatial Analysis and Computation at ASU in the US and a research fellow at Centre for Geoinformatics at University of St Andrews in UK.

2002年和2005年分别获得南京大学城市与资源学系地理信息系统专业学士和地图学与地理信息系统硕士学位，2012年获得美国亚利桑那州立大学工业工程硕士和地理学博士学位。毕业后曾任美国亚利桑那州立大学GeoDa空间分析和研究中心博士后研究员和英国圣安德鲁斯大学地理计算中心研究员。

研究方向与社会贡献  （Research direction and social contribution）

Her research fields interests cover a wide range of areas in GIScience, including spatial statistics, and spatial optimization, etc. Currently, she focuses on developing quantitative methods for spatially integrated analysis and modeling as well as their applications in urban studies. Her work has been published in journals such as Transactions in GIS, International Journal of Geographical Information Science, Computers, Environment and Urban Systems, Geographical Analysis, Papers in Regional Science, The Annals of Regional Science and Social Science & Medicine, etc.

主要研究领域包括地理信息科学的众多领域如空间统计和空间优化等。目前她的研究侧重于空间分析和建模的定量方法及其在城市研究中的应用。她的工作发表在 Transactions in GIS, International Journal of Geographical Information Science, Computers, Environment and Urban Systems, Geographical Analysis, Papers in Regional Science, The Annals of Regional Science and Social Science & Medicine等期刊。
