休斯顿大学建设管理系助理教授， Department of Construction Management, University of Houston


Dr. Kailai Wang is an Assistant Professor of Supply Chain and Logistics Technology in the Department of Construction Management at the University of Houston. Before joining UH, he worked as a postdoctoral researcher in the 3 Revolution Future Mobility Program at the UC Davis Institute of Transportation Studies from 2019-2020. He received a Ph.D. in City and Regional Planning at The Ohio State University in 2019, a Master of Urban and Environmental Planning at Arizona State University in 2015, and a B.E. in Urban Planning at Huazhong University of Science and Technology in 2014.

王开来博士目前是美国休斯顿大学建设管理系的助理教授。他曾在加州大学戴维斯交通研究院从事博士后研究工作（2019-2020），分别获得俄亥俄州立大学城市与区域规划专业博士学位（2019）、亚利桑那州立大学获得城市与环境规划硕士学位（2015）和华中科技大学获得城市规划学士学位（2014）。

研究方向与社会贡献  （Research direction and social contribution）

Dr. Kailai Wang’s research interests lie at the nexus of transportation, urban planning, and spatial data science.
Dr. Wang has first-authored more than ten papers on internationally acclaimed scientific journals, such as Journal of Planning Education and Research, Transport Reviews, Transportation, Transportation Research Part A: Policy and Practice, Transportation Research Part F: Traffic Psychology and Behaviour, Journal of Transport Geography, Travel Behaviour and Society, Cities, Sustainable Cities and Society, and Transportation Research Record. Dr. Wang is now a committee member of the TRB’s Standing Committees on Emerging and Innovative Public Transport and Technologies (AP020) and Bicycle Transportation (ACH20). He has also served the academic community by acting as a reviewer for more than twenty prestigious peer-reviewed journals, books, and conference proceedings.

王开来主要从事多学科背景下基于技术革新与大数据的城市交通管理研究。目前的研究成果发表于Journal of Planning Education and Research, Transport Reviews, Transportation, Transportation Research Part A: Policy and Practice, Transportation Research Part F: Traffic Psychology and Behaviour, Journal of Transport Geography, Travel Behaviour and Society, Cities等区域与城市规划、城市研究、以及交通领域国际顶级学术期刊。他目前是美国科学院交通委员会AP020新兴公交与技术分会和ACH20自行车交通分会常务委员。
