秦波 (Bo Qin)秦波教授是中国人民大学公共管理学院城市规划与管理系教授。 Dr. Bo Qin is a professor at the Department of Urban Planning and Management, School of Public Administration and Policy, Renmin University of China. 秦波教授2000年毕业于武汉大学建筑系城市规划专业，2003年获北京大学城市与环境学系人文地理硕士学位，2007年于新加坡国立大学设计与环境学院获博士学位。 Professor Bo Qin holds a Bachelor of Engineering in urban planning from the Department of Architecture at Wuhan University in 2000. He also obtained a Master of Science in Human Geography from the Department of Urban and Environment Studies at Peking University in 2003, and a Ph.D. from the School of Design and Environment at the National University of Singapore in 2007. |
研究方向与社会贡献 (Research direction and social contribution)
秦波教授的研究兴趣包括城市内部空间结构、城市可持续发展与转型国家城市发展，近期研究工作聚焦于健康城市空间规划以及城市治理理论。他已在国内外城市规划和城市研究领域的专业期刊上发表论文50余篇，其中包括期刊《美国规划协会学报》、《景观与城市规划》、《城市研究》等；主持两项国家自然科学基金，出版著作四部，参与编辑著作五部。目前，秦波教授担任中国人民大学公共管理学院城市规划与管理系主任，致力于推动城乡规划和公共管理两个一级学科的融合发展。同时，秦波教授现任《Urban Affairs Review》编委，为二十余个国内外期刊、高校和研究机构担任评审人，担任中国城市规划学会城乡规划实施学术委员会副秘书长、城市治理学术委员会委员、中国城市科学研究会健康城市专业委员会委员、北京地理学会青年工作委员会等社会职务。
Professor Bo Qin’s research interests include urban internal spatial structure, urban sustainable development and cities in transitional economy. Recently his research focuses on spatial planning for healthy city and urban governance theories. He has published more than 50 articles in international and Chinese academic journals in urban planning and urban studies, including the journals such as the Journal of American Planning Association, Landscape and Urban Planning, Urban Studies, etc. He has also completed two projectes funded by the National Natural Science Foundation of China, authored and co-authored four books, and co-edited five books. Currently he serves as chair of the Department of Urban Planning and Management at the School of Public Administration and Policy, Renmin University of China, with an aim to promote the integrated development between the two disciplines, Urban-Rural Planning and Public Administration. He serves as the board member for Urban Affairs Review, consultant referees for more than twenty journals and universities, and members for the Academic Committee of Urban-Rural Planning Implementation and the Academic Committee of Urban Governance in Urban Planning Society of China, the Committee of Health City in Chinese Society for Urban Studies, Youth Committee in the Geographical Society of Beijing, etc.
与IACP (The relationship with IACP)
秦波教授自创办初期即积极支持和参与IACP事务，至今已是十年会员，并于2011年在中国人民大学承办了第五届IACP年会，近年来亦积极参与IACP年会和院长系主任论坛。
Professor Bo Qin, as a ten-year IACP member, has actively supported and participated in IACP affairs since its establishment. He helped organize the fifth IACP Annual Conference at Renmin University of China in 2011, and actively participated in IACP conferences and Dean/Chair’s Forum.
